Yes, children aged 10 and above are welcome. Children under 14 are preferably accompanied by an adult. ### Do I need previous paddling experience? No, our activity is suitable for beginners. Full instruction is provided. ### Can I watch the activity? Yes, we run all of our activities off the beach here at Port Gaverne. There is a headland on the right hand side of the beach called ‘The Main’ there are some steps on the right hand side of the beach that lead up onto the headland (cut off at high tide) or a path half way up the road. There is a bench to sit on and it’s a great spot for a picnic or taking photos. ### Can we use our own wetsuits? You’re more than welcome to wear your own wetsuits providing they’re suitable for the water temperature at the time of your activity. ### Where are the toilets? The public conveniences in Port Gaverne (just back from the beach next to Raleigh Cellar and the hard-standing boat park) aren’t always open and we’d recommend using the public toilets in St Endellion Car Park (20p) before coming down into Port Gaverne. ### Can we wear/bring a GoPro or Action Camera? Yes, although we prefer that you have a floating attachment so that it doesn’t get lost or sink. We are not liable for the loss or damage of your camera. We don’t have any helmets with a mount attached. ### What shall we do with valuables? We recommend that you only bring what is essential for your time with us. We can store bags in our equipment store but please note we don’t have any lockers and/or secure storage. Any valuables left in the care of our centre are left at the owners risk. ### Do you have changing facilities? No, we get changed on the beach or on the grass outside of our cellar. Please bring a large towel or changing robe to use. We do sell changing robes if you’d like one. ### Where should we park? We meet at Port Gaverne beach prior to our activities unless otherwise stated. PARKING IS LIMITED IN THE AREA. We recommend allowing plenty of time to find parking. Alternatively to minimise traffic congestion it might be easier if somebody can drop you off for the activity.
