Dive into the world of surfing with Pembrokeshire's premier surf school, voted Wales' Surf School of the Year! Since 1999, we've been passionate about introducing surfing to people of all ages and abilities. Our surf lessons, set against the backdrop of Pembrokeshire's stunning beaches, offer not just skill development but a gateway to unforgettable experiences.
Our lessons focus on the fundamentals of surfing - from paddling to popping up on your board. You'll learn wave selection, surfing etiquette, ocean awareness, and, most importantly, how to ride the waves with confidence and safety.
Your surf journey begins with a warm welcome from our friendly ISA-certified instructors. Each session includes a brief on equipment usage, surfing techniques, and safety protocols. You'll spend time on the beach for initial instruction before heading into the water to catch your first waves.
We predominantly operate at Freshwater West and Manorbier Beach during the main season (June to August) and expand to various locations like Tenby, Saundersfoot, Broad Haven South, and Newgale during the early and late seasons (April to May / September to November).
The choice of beach is determined a day before the lesson based on the best and safest surfing conditions.
No prior surfing experience is required. All you need is a willingness to learn and a spirit for adventure!
To surf safely, you should be able to swim 25 metres unaided.

This lesson is aimed at anybody wanting to start surfing, or ideal as a refresher for anyone who has not been in the water for a while.
We recommend that you bring:
Swimsuit and/or board shorts.
Beach shoes/or flip flops.
Beach towel.
Sunscreen.
A bottle of water.
Warm clothes to change into.

Got some surfboards and wetsuits for a couple of hours. They were dropped off at the right place right time, he was very helpful and knowledgeable, gave us a little info about the beach because we hadn't surfed there before. Will definitely be using again and recommending
