Embark on an enlightening journey into the depths of scuba diving with our range of PSAI Nitrox and Trimix courses. Nitrox diving uses enriched air with higher oxygen content than regular air, enhancing safety and extending bottom times. Trimix diving goes a step further, incorporating helium to reduce nitrogen and oxygen levels for deep diving. Our sequential courses, taught by the expert diver Scott, are designed to progressively enhance your diving skills and knowledge, ensuring safe and exhilarating experiences under the water.
This foundational course introduces divers to Nitrox, with oxygen concentrations up to 40%. It covers:
Taking a step further, this course enables divers to use Nitrox up to 100% oxygen, ideal for technical diving and stage decompression. Key areas include:
Designed for deep diving up to 55 meters using staged decompression, this course focuses on:
Transitioning to Trimix, this course introduces helium-based mixtures for diving up to 60 meters, covering:
Expanding the depth range to 75 meters, this advanced course delves into:

Each course in the PSAI Nitrox and Trimix series has specific prerequisites. As you progress to more advanced courses like Advanced Nitrox, Extended Range Nitrox, and the Trimix levels, prerequisites include the successful completion of the previous course, a certain number of logged dives, and proof of good physical health. It's essential to have a solid foundation in diving basics before advancing to technical aspects of Nitrox and Trimix diving.
The duration of each course varies. The Nitrox Diver course might take a weekend, whereas the Trimix courses could span several days due to their complexity. Each course typically combines theoretical classroom sessions, practical exercises, and open-water dives. Theoretical aspects cover gas blending, equipment, and safety protocols, while practical sessions focus on real-life application of these principles.
