Despite the bad weather we had a throughly enjoyable day. Kath is a fantastic instructor and guide and she knew exactly just how much to push us :) My son is already planning our next trip and we plan to return again next year.

Tackle a thrilling adventure to conquer Mid Wales's iconic peak, an exhilarating day out tailored for those seeking an unforgettable mountain biking experience amidst the stunning Welsh landscape.
Prepare for an adrenaline-fuelled ascent, navigating challenging terrain with a mix of exhilarating single track, rocky scree, grassy turns, and steep sections. Our experienced guides will lead you through the demanding climb, offering tips on bike-carrying techniques and ensuring a steady pace for an enjoyable journey to the summit.
Marvel at the breathtaking views along the way, including cascading rivers and lush valleys, immersing yourself in the beauty of the Welsh countryside. Following the triumphant ascent, brace yourself for a fast-paced descent, complete with technical challenges and opportunities to test your skills.
Conclude the day with a gentle ride back to the scenic village of Abergynolwyn, where you can unwind and relish in the day's achievements. Mid Wales’s iconic peak makes a fantastic day out for those who haven’t experienced a mountain summit by bike before!
Commencing from the charming village of Abergynolwyn, our route traverses the breathtaking landscape of Cadair Idris, offering panoramic vistas and thrilling trails.
We use the only bridlepath up and down Cadair Idris and it is a less demanding descent than Snowdon but it is NOT a ride suitable for novices.
It is a long day out at around 27km but if you are happy on Red and some Black graded trail centre routes and have already done some natural, technical riding then this is the ride for you!
Led by Kath, a seasoned mountain biking enthusiast with over 30 years of experience in both education and outdoor pursuits, our centre promises a personalised and exhilarating experience. Kath's extensive credentials including a Degree in Outdoor and Environmental Education, British Cycling L3 Leadership Award, L2 MTB Coach Award, Mountain Leader Award, and outdoor specific First Aid Certificate ensure a safe and rewarding adventure.
Her passion for sharing the joy of mountain biking with others, coupled with her expertise in coaching and leadership guarantees a memorable journey where riders can push their limits and revel in the beauty of the Welsh landscape.
Yes, participants are responsible for bringing their own bikes and equipment. However, bike/e-bike and helmet hire can be arranged with prior notice for added convenience.
If you'd like to arrange this, please contact the Adventuro team via the online chat. They'll be more than happy to help!
This ride is designed for intermediate-plus riders whom have experience riding on Red and some Black graded trail centre routes. If you are a novice, we advise you to explore other options due to the challenging terrain.
