Surfing lessons in Cornwall are the perfect introduction to the sport, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills. Upon arrival at the base at Dinham Farm, you will be fitted with all the necessary gear, including a wetsuit, surfboard, and leash. After getting kitted up, you'll board a minibus and head to Polzeath Beach, one of Cornwall’s most popular surf spots. Your lesson will start with some basic instruction on land, covering the fundamentals of surfing, before you head into the water for your session.
In the water, you’ll practise paddling out, positioning yourself on the board, and catching your first waves, all under the guidance of your instructors. You’ll be in the water for around two hours, getting plenty of time to hone your skills and improve your technique. Your instructors will be by your side, offering helpful tips and feedback to ensure you’re learning effectively. After your time in the water, you’ll head back to Dinham Farm to change and reflect on your experience.
Polzeath Beach is known for its excellent surf conditions, making it an ideal spot for beginners to learn the ropes of the sport. The beach is easily accessible, with plenty of space for your lesson to take place.
