Explore the coastline with a guided stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) tour, ideal for those with basic paddleboarding experience who want to enjoy the water in a fun and relaxed environment. This session is perfect for those looking to venture out on the water with expert guidance while taking in the sights of the local area.
On your guided SUP tour, you will set off from either Padstow Estuary or Harlyn Beach, depending on the conditions of the day. Your instructor will guide you through calm waters, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable as you navigate the surroundings. The tour offers the chance to explore the coastline at a relaxed pace, while learning about the local area from your knowledgeable guide. The experience will be fun, safe, and tailored to suit all levels of paddleboarders who are confident in their basic skills. You'll get plenty of time to paddle around and enjoy the peaceful surroundings while taking in the sights of the estuary.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your session begins. You'll meet at the emergency gate on the Camel Trail, Padstow, where the trailer will be parked. The tour will take place on the estuary, though if conditions allow, it may move to the beach. Keep in mind that parking is not available at the meeting point, so please allow enough time to find parking in Padstow before the session starts.
The tour takes place at Padstow Estuary, easily accessible from the town centre, or occasionally at Harlyn Beach depending on conditions. If the estuary isn't suitable due to tide times, the team may shift the location to the beach.
Padstow is a popular area with plenty of parking options nearby, though it's a short walk from the meeting point to the water. Be sure to check your contact details are up to date as location changes may occur last minute due to shifting weather conditions.
Participants MUST be confident in their paddleboarding skills and be able to paddle for at least an hour. As part of the session, participants should also be capable of self-rescuing in case they fall off the board. This session is not suitable for novices.
It is essential to wear suitable footwear and bring a towel, swimwear, and sun protection. If you require a wetsuit, be sure to contact us in advance to ensure we have the correct size available for you.
