Trying indoor climbing for the first time? This session is designed to introduce you to the world of climbing, teaching you basic techniques and a bit of ropework in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re completely new to the sport or just curious, this is a perfect starting point.
Upon arrival, you’ll meet your experienced instructor, Scott, who will guide you through the session. After an introduction to the climbing environment and the safety aspects of the sport, you’ll begin by learning fundamental climbing techniques. Scott will demonstrate how to move effectively on the wall, teaching you how to use your feet and body in coordination to make each climb easier.
You will also be introduced to basic ropework. This includes learning how to belay safely and understanding how the ropes are used in climbing. As you climb, your instructor will be there to offer support, tips, and encouragement, ensuring you feel confident every step of the way.
The session is tailored to your individual skill level, so whether you’re nervous or eager, you’ll receive the attention and care needed to enjoy your first climbing experience. By the end, you’ll have a solid understanding of basic climbing techniques and a great start to your climbing journey.
