Discover kayaking on the gorgeous Pembrokeshire Coast. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to enhance your skills, our sessions are designed to introduce you to the basics of this exciting sport while enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery.
Upon arrival at our centre in St Davids, you'll be welcomed by our friendly staff who will assist you with signing the waiver and getting kitted up with all necessary equipment. Afterward, we transport you to the sheltered waters of a nearby harbour, the starting point for your kayaking adventure.
For the Discovery Package, you’ll begin in calm waters where our experienced instructors will guide you through launching, landing, and mastering basic strokes. You will learn how to turn, paddle efficiently, and perform capsize drills, all while enjoying a relaxed pace ideal for first-timers.
The Explorer Package is designed for those aged 13 and above who seek more challenge and adventure. You will cover the same basic skills but at a quicker pace, with additional emphasis on safety at sea and handling more dynamic water conditions. This session is perfect for those who are confident in the water and looking to push their boundaries.
Throughout both packages, you’ll have the opportunity to take in the amazing views from the unique vantage point of your kayak. Our instructors will share insights into the local marine environment, ensuring an educational and enjoyable experience.
Situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, our kayaking sessions take full advantage of some of the cleanest coastal waters in Europe. With a diverse range of marine life and beautiful landscapes, this location provides an ideal backdrop for your kayaking adventure.
The meeting point is at 20 High Street, St Davids, SA62 6SD where we will transport you to the kayaking site.
Participants should be comfortable in the water and must sign a waiver before the session. The Discovery Package is suitable for beginners aged 8 and above, while the Explorer Package is for confident beginners to intermediate kayakers aged 13 and above.

The minimum age for the Discovery Package is 8 years old, and for the Explorer Package, it is 13 years old.
These ages are flexible depending on the individual's experience and confidence.

Each kayaking session can accommodate a minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 8 per instructor.

Yes, all necessary equipment is included.
Participants only need to bring dry clothes, swimmers, a towel, old trainers, and shorts to wear over wetsuits.
No prior experience is necessary for the Discovery Package.
The Explorer Package requires participants to be comfortable in the water but does not require advanced kayaking skills.
All participants meet at our centre located at 20 High Street, St Davids, Haverfordwest, SA62 6SD.
From there, we will provide transport to the kayaking location.
