Join us for an unforgettable adventure through one of Scotland's most scenic regions.
This guided eBike tour takes you through the heart of The Trossachs.
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by our friendly guide at Katrine Wheelz. After a brief introduction, we'll fit you with your eBike and helmet, and provide a short tutorial on how the electric assist works. You'll have a few minutes to practice riding and get comfortable with the bike before we set off.
Starting from on the serene banks of Loch Katrine, you'll follow a virtually traffic-free lochside road, enjoying the same landscapes that inspired Sir Walter Scott’s famous poem, Lady of the Lake. As you cycle towards Brenachoile Point, a location featured in the popular series Outlander, and onwards to Stronachlachar, you'll be treated to spectacular views up and down the loch.
This area, rich in history and folklore, was once home to the legendary Scottish folk hero Rob Roy MacGregor. The tour can include a stop at the Stronachlachar café (not included in price), where you can relax and soak in the scenery.
The ride is designed to be leisurely, with plenty of stops along the way to rest, take photos, and enjoy the stunning scenery. There’s no rush – our goal is to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We’ll return to Katrine Wheelz in the mid-afternoon, depending on the pace and the number of stops.
For those up for a challenge, an optional 10-mile extension to Loch Lomond is available, providing even more stunning vistas before returning along the same route.
Our eBike tours are designed to be accessible and enjoyable. Whether you're an experienced or occasional cyclist, the electric assist takes the strain out of hills, allowing you to focus on the stunning surroundings. With local guides who are passionate about the area, you'll gain insider knowledge while enjoying a leisurely ride through a landscape of mountains, lochs, and forests.
