Kids had a great time with Chris. He managed a group of varied experience brilliantly and kept them all engaged and excited. Fab challenges and all were both chuffed and tired by the end of the two hours. Highly recommended as a kids party!
These one-hour sessions provide a fun and engaging way for pre-schoolers to learn basic bike handling skills. Held every Friday, they offer young children the opportunity to develop balance and coordination through games, obstacle courses, and skills practice, all in a supportive environment.
These sessions are designed to introduce pre-schoolers to the basics of riding balance bikes. The hour is filled with enjoyable activities that focus on building confidence and improving balance.
Children will have the chance to practise their skills through fun obstacle courses and games, with plenty of support from the instructors. Guardians are asked to remain on site during the session, ensuring that children have the best experience possible.
Held at Deeside Activity Park in Aboyne, the sessions take place in a spacious, well-equipped environment. The park offers a scenic backdrop, with access to safe, controlled spaces ideal for young riders to explore and develop their skills.
This session is suitable for children up to 6 years old, who are ready to begin learning basic bike handling skills. Parents or guardians must stay on-site throughout the session, providing a supportive presence for their child.
Children are welcome to use their own bike, as long as it is safe and suitable for the activity. If needed, the centre offers bike hire, helmets, and protective pads.
Chris and Kirsten bring a wealth of expertise to every session, with extensive qualifications in mountain biking and sports coaching. Together, they are committed to providing a fun, educational experience for every child, focusing on skill development, safety, and enjoyment.
In addition to their qualifications, they are dedicated to giving back to the community, supporting local schools, clubs, and charities.
