Whether you're a complete beginner or an indoor climber looking to test your skills outdoors, this is your opportunity to try rock climbing in a natural environment. Tailored for all abilities, you'll enjoy expert guidance and coaching while scaling real rock faces. With small group sizes and sessions designed around your experience level and preferences, this is a fun and engaging way to challenge yourself while soaking up the beauty of the outdoors.
Ahead of your session, we’ll discuss the location that best suits your needs, taking into account your ability and weather conditions to provide the most enjoyable climb. Once we’ve gathered, you’ll receive a safety briefing and an introduction to the equipment. If you’re new to climbing, you’ll be shown basic techniques, including belaying, movement on rock, and how to safely tackle routes.
For experienced climbers, the session will focus on refining your skills and pushing you to try new challenges. We’ll explore different climbing styles, work on improving your movement, and give you opportunities to tackle more complex routes. Throughout the session, you'll receive ongoing advice and encouragement, helping you make the most of your time on the rock.
Situated in the heart of the Lake District, close to Keswick, our sessions make the most of the beautiful natural surroundings.
The exact climbing location is chosen based on weather and participant requirements. If you're interested in adventures further afield, sessions can also be organised in Wales or Scotland.
No prior experience is required. We cater to all skill levels, but participants should be in good health and prepared for a physical challenge. Simply bring comfortable clothing and a positive attitude.
The belief that the outdoors is for everyone forms the core of what we do. Our lead instructor’s passion for the outdoors began later in life, growing up in Cheshire before discovering climbing at 25. This journey has since taken them across the world, gaining skills, experiences, and outdoor qualifications, including the Rock Climbing Instructor and Summer Mountain Leader Awards.
Now based in the Lake District, they are dedicated to sharing these skills with others, whether it’s in the local fells or on adventures across Wales and Scotland. Every session is tailor-made to meet the needs and abilities of the group, ensuring a fun and personal climbing adventure.
No experience is necessary! Our sessions are designed for all ability levels, from complete beginners to experienced indoor climbers.
You'll receive expert coaching and guidance tailored to your skills.
