## FAQs

### From what age can you learn to dive?

For those ready to take the plunge into certification, our PADI Open Water Training Courses are available for individuals aged 12 years and older

### Do I need to be a strong swimmer to learn to dive?

Diving is all about enjoying the underwater world, and you don't need to be a strong swimmer to start. For the PADI Open Water qualification, you should be able to swim 200m at your own pace and tread water for 10 minutes in deep water. These requirements are designed to ensure you're comfortable and safe in the water, rather than test your speed or strength.

### Why get a PADI Certification with your dive school?

Choosing to get your PADI certification with us opens up a world of diving opportunities. PADI is the most internationally recognised scuba diving certification, ensuring that wherever your adventures take you, your qualification will be respected and acknowledged. Learning with a UK-based diving organisation like ours not only provides you with a globally recognised certification but also ensures that your training is comprehensive, meeting the highest standards of safety and quality. This means you can confidently continue your diving education and experiences anywhere in the world.

### Are there medical conditions that prevent me from diving?

Please make sure you check the PADI diving medical form before you book a diving training course. Sometimes you may need a doctor's sign-off before you can go diving.
