After meeting at Dinham Farm, you’ll get kitted out with a wetsuit and board before heading down to New Polzeath Beach in the minibus. Your instructor will begin with a briefing on beach safety, understanding the waves, and key surfing techniques tailored to your level.
Once in the water, you’ll focus on paddling, board positioning, and catching waves with direct feedback from your instructor. Beginners will work on standing up and riding their first waves, while more experienced surfers can refine their skills or learn new techniques. With the full attention of your instructor, each session is adapted to suit your goals, ensuring steady progression and a fun experience in the water. After around two hours of surfing, you’ll return to Dinham Farm to get changed and wrap up the session.
