Are you a white-water enthusiast over the age of 18, eager to elevate your kayaking skills? Our programme is tailored to help you master new tricks and surf features like a pro. With the guidance of our experienced instructors, you'll enhance your freestyle abilities and join a community of like-minded paddlers.
The session begins with an introduction and safety briefing, where you'll meet your instructors and fellow participants, and go over essential safety information.
Next, we move into a warm-up session. This includes a series of stretches and paddling exercises designed to prepare your body for the physical demands of the activity. The core of the lesson focuses on skill development. During this time, you'll concentrate on specific freestyle techniques such as surfing features and executing new tricks. Our instructors will provide demonstrations and offer personalised tips to help you improve.
After practising the skills, you will apply what you've learned in practical application. This involves adapting your new moves to various water environments and features, giving you the confidence to handle different conditions and challenges. The session concludes with feedback and personal development discussions.
