Join us for an exploration of Gibraltar's hidden gems and the fascinating wildlife that graces our picturesque shores.
Our SUP Safari offers both adventure and wildlife observation and it is suitable for all levels of paddleboarding experience. We invite you to explore the hidden treasures and vibrant wildlife of Gibraltar, including Sandy Bay and Camp Bay. As you navigate these beautiful locations, you'll have the opportunity to enhance your paddleboarding skills and learn wildlife observation techniques.
The highlight of the safari is the chance to paddle through areas frequented by dolphin pods, where these majestic creatures often accompany participants, adding a touch of magic to the experience. It's an ideal adventure for those looking to connect with nature, experience the thrill of discovery, and witness the enchanting presence of dolphins up close.
Participants are required to have a basic level of swimming proficiency and some kayaking or paddleboarding experience, or they must have completed a beginner SUP lesson. The safari includes all necessary equipment, including the board, paddle, leash, and buoyancy aid, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.
We travel around the Gibraltar coastlines, taking in the local wildlife and picturesque views. Specific meeting points can be found in the FAQ's.
Participants should possess swimming ability and have basic paddling experience or have completed our the beginner SUP lesson.

We meet at the SUP Hut in the middle of Sandy Bay beach, situated 700m past the Caleta Hotel.
We offer well-maintained equipment including Red Paddle inflatable paddleboards, BIC/RRD rigid boards, leash, paddles, buoyancy aids, and life belts.
We strongly recommend insurance for cancellation, accident, and personal injury.
Children aged 15 and above with basic swimming ability and parental/guardian permission can enjoy SUPing.
In the summer months parking is difficult around Sandy Bay, but there is limited parking available on Sir Herbert Mile Road in designated areas (please read the parking signs). Another option is to park at Catalan Bay and walk the 1km to Sandy bay. However, there is a very good bus service (No. 4 and 8) that runs from the market place to Sandy Bay (www.gibraltarbuscompany.gi) Camp Bay has more parking although in the summer months weekends and evenings are busy. Europa Point has additional parking spaces which is a 1 km walk to Camp Bay.
To Stand Up Paddleboard, you will need to have a simple level of fitness and basic swimming ability, buoyancy aids are available.
You’ll need to arrive at least 10 minutes before your session’s start time. We cannot accommodate late-comers as it affects the session for other customers on the SUP experience. Remember parking may be difficult in the summer and if coming from Spain that the frontier queue can vary.
We will cancel if we deem conditions to be unsuitable (e.g. very strong winds, fast fluvial flows, etc.), but we are not put off by a bit of rain or wind. If your session is cancelled by us, you will have an option to reschedule or a refund. We also occasionally postpone due to jellyfish. However, we try to work together to find a solution.
We partner with Rewilding Britain to help protect our natural spaces for future adventures.
