Experience an exciting ride through the enchanting New Forest, guided by an expert who will lead you along a variety of terrain. This adventure offers a thrilling mix of forest trails, gravel tracks, and charming hamlets, perfect for individuals and small groups seeking a memorable cycling experience.
The journey begins at the Green Dragon in Brook, where you’ll be welcomed by your guide, Steve. From here, you'll pedal through quiet roads towards Bramshaw, before transitioning onto gravel tracks that lead into the heart of the New Forest. Your route takes you past the Deer Sanctuary, offering an intimate look behind its boundaries and deeper into the forest.
Continue along well-marked gravel paths to Bolderwood Arboretum Drive, then head to the Reptile Centre where you may encounter local wildlife such as frogs, adders, and lizards. A brief stop at the Portuguese Fireplace precedes more gravel tracks as you cycle through the forest towards Minstead. The return journey follows a bridleway back to the Green Dragon. For those feeling adventurous, there’s an option to extend the tour and face the full force of the Dragon’s roar.
