All participants must be able to swim confidently. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult on the board. It’s important to bring a valid photo ID for check-in.

We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather and bringing essentials like a towel, waterproofs, and a dry bag for personal items.

Veelgestelde vragen:

How many people can fit on a MEGA SUP?

Each MEGA SUP can hold up to four people comfortably. It’s designed for teamwork, so you’ll need to work together to balance, steer, and move efficiently across the water.

If you're planning on playing games or taking part in challenges, having fewer people on board can give you more space to move around.

Do I need any prior paddleboarding experience?

No prior experience is needed! The MEGA SUP is stable and great for beginners. Before heading out, you’ll receive a short briefing on how to paddle, balance, and stay safe on the water.

Whether you’re completely new or have paddleboarded before, the session is all about having fun and working together.

What should I wear for the session?

It’s best to wear quick-drying clothing or a wetsuit, depending on the weather. Soft-soled shoes like trainers or water shoes are recommended (avoid flip-flops as they can easily fall off).

A waterproof jacket can help if it’s breezy, and gloves and a hat are good options in colder weather. You may also want to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We monitor weather conditions closely and will contact you if there are any changes to the session. If the conditions make it unsafe to go out, we may need to reschedule or relocate to a more sheltered part of the loch.

Light rain is usually fine, but strong winds or storms may mean postponing the session.

Are there age restrictions?

The MEGA SUP is open to all ages, but all participants must be able to swim. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult on the board.

If you have younger children, it’s a good idea to check with us in advance to ensure the activity is suitable for them.

What is the gladiator challenge, and do I have to take part?

The gladiator challenge is an optional add-on where participants use padded batons to try and knock each other off the board while maintaining their own balance.

It’s a fun way to test your skills, but it’s entirely optional—if you’d rather just enjoy paddling and exploring, that’s absolutely fine.
