Sessions run on a sheltered reservoir at the southern edge of the Peak District, with small groups for powerboat handling, dinghy sailing and paddling. The boats, boards and safety kit are looked after on site, and the briefings are plain about what the day involves.
Beginners can start with a short lesson or a hire slot. Longer courses are for people who want a recognised powerboat certificate or several sailing sessions in a row. The water is inland, and the powerboat work uses the centre's own boat.
