What to Expect

As you navigate the serene waters of Derwent Water, soak in the local scenery, explore the shoreline, and even journey out to the nearby islands. Based on your preferences and the weather, there are various ways you can paddle a canoe. You can paddle alone, in pairs or threes, or rafted together. To make a stable platform, we can secure two canoes together with wooden bars if you prefer rafting. This is a suitable option for nervous paddlers and young children. However, expect to get splashed while coordinating your paddle strokes. We'll also have lots of fun playing games along the way! We pause for a hot drink, allowing adults to relax while kids enjoy some shore-side fun.

He acquired a wealth of knowledge and skills across various activities like rock climbing, biking, and paddling, under the mentorship of these seasoned experts. Over the past 15 years, Justin has been a freelancer in the Lake District and beyond, working with various outdoor education providers.
