Get ready for a journey that combines daily sea kayaking excursions with opportunities to explore the islands' unique landscapes and cultural sites. Each day offers a carefully planned itinerary, starting with meeting on St.Martins, where you'll paddle to various destinations such as St.Marys, Tresco, Bryher, and more.
Your experienced guides will lead you through sheltered coves, crystal-clear waters, and pristine beaches accessible only by kayak. You'll have the chance to circumnavigate islands, visit secluded coves, and explore historical landmarks like Tresco Abbey's sub-tropical gardens. Encounter dolphins, whales, and diverse bird species, enriched by the Isles' Gulf Stream-influenced ecosystem.
The Isles of Scilly, located 28 miles southwest of Lands End, boast a mild climate and rich biodiversity, making it an ideal sea kayaking destination with its myriad of small islands and calm waters.
There is a great selection of fabulous holiday cottages, hotels and B&Bs to choose from. Lots of people opt for the campsite which is right next to the beach just a 30-second walk through the dunes to your kayak, this is where you’ll be meeting each day.
If you’d like to eat out in the evenings there are some great pubs serving delicious food.
Participants should have a basic level of fitness and be comfortable in open water. Previous sea kayaking experience is recommended but not essential.
