Whether you're looking for a unique family outing or a peaceful getaway, we have canoes suitable for everyone (including your furry friends with prior arrangement). With options of two-seater and three-seater canoes, you can choose the best combination for your group.
We're London's premier provider of paddling experiences, operating since 2011. Our expert team, enriched by diverse backgrounds, is devoted to making your paddling journey unforgettable, regardless of your experience level.
Our mission is not only to provide a fun and unique way to experience the city but also to raise awareness of the marine environment and the challenges it currently faces, such as plastic pollution. We're passionate about preserving our beautiful canals and encourage you to join us in this cause.
Please Note: Due to safety regulations, independent crossing through Maida Hill tunnel on the Regent's Canal is not permitted.
Choose our Canoe Hire to experience London from a whole new perspective. We can't wait to help you make ripples in the heart of London!
You will receive confirmation of your booking via email, and be able to speak directly to the centre via an online chat in case you have any further questions/requests.
There's no need for any specific attire for your canoe rental. However, we recommend dressing according to the weather conditions on your session day, taking into account factors such as wind and rain.
A change of light clothes or a jumper might come in handy after you've finished exercising. However, please note that we don't provide dry bags.
What to Bring:
For Colder Weather:
Canoes can take a lot of weight and you can take your bag with you. However, you can leave some belongings on site if you wish. We do not have lockers on site but personal belongings in a bag/rucksack can be left in the equipment cages on site. Make sure you do not leave loose items - it's best to put them in one or two bags.
We have never had anything go missing, but please avoid bringing valuables or bring a lock for a locker (or take them in a drybag) as the changing rooms are shared by staff and all customers.
We highly recommend cycling to the site. There are cycle stands nearby. Bring a lock with you. Folded Brompton bikes can be left inside.
Certainly, we love having our four-legged friends join us for a canoe adventure! If you have a small dog that you'd like to bring along, we're more than happy to welcome them on board. However, there are a few things you might want to consider to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both you and your furry pal.
You know your dog better than anyone, so it's important to think about how they might behave in a canoe. While it's a whole new exciting world for them, any incidents involving your pet will be your responsibility, so keeping them under close control is essential.
We recommend having a buoyancy aid for your dog, equipped with a top handle, or at least a heavy-duty harness with a top handle. This will allow you to pull them out in an emergency if needed. Please make sure not to pull them by their collars when they're swimming, as this can be harmful.
Dogs are naturally curious, and your furry friend might want to lean out of the canoe or even jump out! It's good to be aware that this can make the canoe unstable and may lead to dangerous situations for both you and your pet. The banks along the canal are high, and motorised traffic might be present, so it's best to be cautious.
Any questions, just ask!
Children as young as 5 will be able to fit into our smallest buoyancy aids. Remember for younger children you will be paddling for them so you must be able to paddle a canoe solo to be able to take them without another adult or older child.
We partner with Rewilding Britain to help protect our natural spaces for future adventures.
All centres are vetted for safety and quality. Your adventure is in good hands with adventuro.
