Your surf lesson will begin with a brief warm-up and safety briefing before hitting the waves. You’ll start with a refresher of the basics and then progress to more advanced techniques. With the focus on improving your wave selection, paddling techniques, and turning on the waves, you’ll get plenty of hands-on instruction.
By the end of the session, you’ll have developed more confidence and skill in riding waves. Your instructor will guide you step-by-step, offering personalised feedback to help you reach your goals. Whether you’re tackling smaller waves or aiming for your first green wave, you’ll receive valuable insights into the ocean's patterns and how to read surf conditions.
The lesson takes place at South Fistral, one of Cornwall’s best beaches for surfing, known for its consistent surf and fantastic conditions for improving your skills. The beach is easily accessible and has a vibrant surf culture, making it the perfect place to practice and enjoy the ocean.
