Nervous about heights or climbing? This gentle and supportive outdoor session is designed specifically for those who want to build confidence, explore their fears, or simply try something new in a safe and encouraging environment. With personalised guidance and no pressure to go beyond your comfort zone, you’ll discover how empowering climbing can be.
What to Expect
The session begins with an introduction to the basics of climbing, including equipment and techniques, to help you feel comfortable and prepared. You’ll start with gentle climbs that ease you into the experience at your own pace, with plenty of breaks and time to adjust. Encouragement and support are prioritised every step of the way, ensuring you feel confident and cared for.
As the session progresses, you’ll have the chance to gently push your limits, only if you feel ready. The activity is tailored to your needs, whether you’re looking to overcome a fear of heights or simply enjoy the physical and mental benefits of climbing. The focus is always on building trust—in yourself, in your guide, and in the process.

The session is held in Edinburgh or North Berwick, Scotland, tranquil settings that offer accessible outdoor climbing suitable for beginners and those working through fears.
The environment is ideal for building confidence while enjoying a change of scenery.

No previous climbing experience is necessary, and upper body strength is not required. You’ll need a willingness to give it a go, and we’ll work at your pace to ensure you feel safe and supported.
Long hair should be tied back, and all jewellery should be removed for safety reasons.
