يُعدّ مقلع الكاتدرائية شاهدًا مذهلًا على الماضي الصناعي الذي شكّل معظم ما تراه في منطقة البحيرات. تبدأ مغامرتك بنزهة قصيرة عبر ألواح الأردواز للوصول إلى مدخل النفق السفلي في المحجر. ستدخل الكهف الرئيسي، ومع قليل من الحظ لن يكون هناك كثير من الناس حولك، لتستمتع بالسكينة والهدوء.
يقودك نفق آخر وتسلق قصير إلى المحجر العلوي، حيث يمكنك رؤية مساري الهبوط بالحبال القادمين وعددهما 2. بمجرد وصولك إلى القمة، ستتعلّم «أصول المهنة» وتتدرّب على أرض آمنة قبل تجاوز الحافة. يُعدّ الهبوط الأول تجربة تمهيدية جيدة للهبوط الكبير. بعد ذلك نسير حول المكان إلى الجزء الرئيسي من المغامرة ونستعد. ستشعر بأجواء الموقع وأنت تميل فوق الحافة وتبدأ بالهبوط. سيسمح لك هبوط ثانٍ بالاستمتاع بالتجربة ببساطة، وبعد الوصول إلى الأسفل نُخرج المصابيح لنغادر عبر نفق آخر.
سيُقام النشاط في مقلع الكاتدرائية، كونيستون، ولكن تتوفر مواقع أخرى. سيتم الاتفاق على الموقع الدقيق عند الحجز، إذ نتحلى بالمرونة بما يناسب تفضيلاتك.
لا تُشترط خبرة سابقة؛ فالهبوط بالحبال مناسب للمشاركين من جميع المستويات. يضمن مرشدونا الخبراء تجربة آمنة وممتعة، مع تقديم الإرشاد في كل خطوة على الطريق.
قد يتمكن الأطفال الذين تبلغ أعمارهم 8 سنوات فأكثر من المشاركة إذا كانوا برفقة أحد الوالدين أو وليّ أمر مشارك. ينبغي للعملاء طلب مشاركة أي طفل يقل عمره عن 12 عامًا تحديدًا، ويخضع ذلك لموافقة Follow Your Path Adventures.
