As you reach the summit, you’ll be treated to vistas that are both vast and accessible, providing a sense of achievement without the need for extensive hill-walking experience.
The return journey includes a visit to an intriguing cave at an old quarry site, adding an element of exploration. The final leg follows the lakeshore, offering a calming end to the walk back into Grasmere. Throughout, the pace is leisurely with regular stops to soak up the surroundings and hear about the area’s history and wildlife.
