Join us for a kayaking session on Regent’s Canal, ideal for adults looking to learn or improve their paddling skills. Open to all ability levels, from complete beginners to seasoned paddlers, this is a great way to get active on the water. With a welcoming group, our sessions are friendly, inclusive, and perfect for those coming alone or with friends and family.
Whether you're new to kayaking or looking to refine your technique, our sessions offer something for everyone. After arriving in your paddling gear, you'll meet your instructor and get a safety briefing. If you're a non-swimmer, simply let your instructor know for added support. Once you're on the water, you'll begin with some basic paddling strokes, familiarising yourself with the kayak and your surroundings.
For beginners, the session will focus on building confidence, mastering balance, and learning simple techniques such as forward paddling and turning. More advanced paddlers can practice skills like efficient paddling, edging, and handling different water conditions. Throughout the two hours, the instructor will be there to guide you, offering personalised tips and adjustments to help you progress.
After the session, you’re welcome to use the on-site showers and changing facilities to freshen up. If you've come prepared, bring a full change of clothes, towel, and toiletries for added comfort. Our aim is to ensure everyone leaves with a sense of accomplishment and a desire to return.
