My son and I had a great time rock climbing with Dan. We felt really safe and he was able to challenge us both. A brilliant experience - thoroughly recommended.

Experience the beauty of the Lake District like never before with an exciting stand-up paddleboarding adventure. Ideal for both beginners and experienced paddlers, this guided tour offers an exciting opportunity to navigate serene waters, witness beautiful landscapes, and create unforgettable memories.
At the start of your session, you will be welcomed by your experienced instructor, who will provide all necessary equipment, including buoyancy aids, wetsuits, and paddleboards. After a thorough briefing on safety and paddleboarding techniques, you will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with your board and gear.
Once you're ready, you will venture out onto the waters of Coniston, where you will learn essential paddling skills. Your instructor will guide you through techniques to paddle efficiently, steer your board, and navigate the waters confidently. As you paddle, you will have the chance to explore iconic landmarks such as Peel Island, also known as Wild Cat Island, bringing the beloved scenes from Arthur Ransome’s Swallows and Amazons to life.
Set in the heart of Cumbria, the Lake District is renowned for its gorgeous natural beauty, with calm lakes and rolling hills offering a perfect setting for outdoor activities.
Coniston Water, one of the area's most scenic lakes, is an ideal spot for paddleboarding, providing calm waters that are perfect for both novices and seasoned paddlers.
Participants should possess a medium level of fitness and mobility, as paddleboarding can require a degree of physical exertion. The minimum age for this activity is 13, ensuring a suitable environment for all participants.
For younger paddlers aged 10-12, private sessions are recommended, allowing for a more tailored experience and additional instructor attention.
