Bring your school group for an exciting mountain biking experience. With skilled instructors, top-notch equipment, and tailored coaching, students will enjoy a safe and adventurous day out on the trails.
Our mountain biking sessions are designed to be both fun and educational. On arrival, students will be greeted by our friendly and highly qualified instructors, all holding certifications from MBLA, British Cycling, or MIAS. A thorough safety briefing will kick off the day, ensuring everyone understands the basics of bike handling and trail safety.
The session will begin with foundational drills to help students get comfortable on their bikes. These exercises focus on balance, body positioning, and basic control. As the group progresses, the instructor will introduce more advanced techniques such as navigating obstacles and managing different terrains. Throughout the session, students will have the opportunity to apply these skills on our well-maintained trails, receiving personalised feedback and guidance to help them improve.
Our coaching method involves breaking down complex skills into manageable steps, allowing students of all abilities to make significant progress. By the end of the session, students will have a greater understanding of mountain biking techniques and the confidence to tackle various trails.
Our mountain biking centre is located at Ashton Court Estate, Bristol. This beautiful estate provides 7.5 km of all-weather, traffic-free trails, offering a safe and scenic environment for students to practice and hone their skills.
Students should have basic cycling proficiency and come dressed in appropriate clothing for outdoor activity. Parental consent is required for minors.
Our instructors are not only highly qualified but also possess a deep understanding of bike control physics, ensuring that students learn effectively and safely. We continuously refine our coaching techniques based on the latest research, offering drills that let students feel the difference in their riding skills.
By breaking down advanced techniques into bite-sized chunks, we make progression accessible to all riders, regardless of their starting level.
