Cathedral Quarry es un espectacular homenaje al pasado industrial que dio forma a gran parte de lo que ves en el Lake District. Tu aventura comienza con una breve caminata por la pizarra hasta llegar a la entrada del túnel inferior de la cantera. Entrarás en la caverna principal y, con un poco de suerte, no habrá mucha gente alrededor, para que puedas disfrutar de la paz y la tranquilidad.
Otro túnel y una breve trepada te llevarán a la cantera superior, donde podrás ver los 2 rápeles previstos. Una vez arriba, te "enseñaremos a manejar las cuerdas" y practicarás en terreno seguro antes de pasar por el borde. El primer rápel es una buena toma de contacto antes del grande. Después caminaremos hasta el punto principal y prepararemos todo. Sentirás el ambiente del lugar mientras te inclinas sobre el borde y comienzas a descender. Un segundo descenso te permitirá simplemente disfrutarlo y, una vez abajo, sacaremos las linternas para salir por otro túnel.
La actividad tendrá lugar en Cathedral Quarry, Coniston, aunque hay otras ubicaciones disponibles. La ubicación exacta se acordará al reservar, ya que nos adaptamos a tus preferencias.
No se necesita experiencia previa; el rápel es perfecto para participantes de todos los niveles. Nuestros guías expertos garantizan una experiencia segura y agradable, ofreciéndote orientación en cada paso del recorrido.
