Master stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) with our comprehensive lessons in Portrush. Catering to all skill levels, from complete beginners to more advanced paddlers, our lessons are designed to enhance your abilities and ensure you enjoy paddleboarding safely and confidently.
Beginner SUP'ers: Learn to stand up, maintain balance, paddle straight, execute basic turns, and understand essential safety practices.
Intermediate Paddlers: Advance your techniques with more complex turns and maneuvers, and gain insights into safety considerations for coastal paddling.
The lesson location is selected based on the best wind conditions for the day, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Options include the scenic areas of Portballintrea, Portrush Harbour, and River Bann. We will communicate your meeting point to you upon booking, in plenty of time for you to make arrangements.
Participants should have moderate mobility and the ability to climb back onto the board after falling into the water. The lesson is suitable for all ages, though participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please bring swimwear, a towel, water-resistant sunscreen, a hat for sun protection, and water to stay hydrated. We also recommend bringing a snack and a change of clothes for after the lesson.

Yes, participants must be at least 12 years old. Children under 12 are welcome to join if accompanied by a participating adult or if sharing a board with them.
Safety is our top priority. All participants receive a safety briefing, and our instructors are trained in first aid and rescue techniques. We also ensure that all participants wear suitable life jackets.
While we provide premium Fanatic paddleboards and carbon paddles, you are welcome to use your own equipment if you prefer. Please ensure it is in good condition and suitable for the conditions.
