Easy. Great place to be, enjoy a beer and a climb. There was a small class on, but loads of space for a Friday.

This session offers a fun introduction to indoor climbing for young children. Tailored specifically for ages 5 to 6, this programme combines fun games and climbing activities to nurture early skills and confidence in a supportive environment. Held every Friday from 4 to 5 pm, these 60-minute sessions are led by a qualified instructor and are designed to engage children while fostering coordination and social skills.
During the session, children will engage in a variety of game-based activities designed to introduce them to climbing in a fun and engaging way. The focus is on creating a positive and enjoyable experience while introducing basic climbing movements and techniques. Instructors guide the children through activities that build their physical skills and confidence while fostering social interactions with their peers.
The programme is structured around the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS), supporting Communication, Physical Development, and Social & Emotional Development. This approach ensures that the activities not only introduce climbing but also align with developmental milestones appropriate for young children.
The sessions take place at Queens Court in Macclesfield, a well-equipped centre offering a safe and inviting environment for young climbers.
The centre features a range of climbing routes suitable for beginners and provides a welcoming space for families.
There are no specific prerequisites for this programme, making it accessible to all children within the age group. However, parents or carers must remain on-site throughout the session to supervise and ensure safety.

It was brilliant. Well set out and all levels catered for. Shame that some of the\'boulders\' had taken off and not yet replaced, but we understand they can\'t fix them all every day. Didn\'t stop us all having the best day of the holidays
